We are a happily married Christian couple. We have been married 38 years. We want people to know that "one man, one woman for life" is not only God's ideal plan for a happy life, but it is also possible in this modern world. The children are all grown and we still enjoy being together and working together. It's a grand thing to be Christians. Being deeply religious is not a drag; it's a blessing.
John
and Ruth
John
is a graduate of Southern
Nazarene University (SNU) with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religion and
Speech Communication. He is an ordained minister in the Church of the Nazarene.
The Church commissions him as an evangelist and also as a song evangelist.
He is an interesting communicator and his preaching is Bible centered,
evangelistic and relevant. He has years of experience in pastoral ministry
and full time evangelism.
John is a trombonist.
He studied under James "Doc" Walker and Willard S. Nichols. He has played
in several bands and orchestras including Oklahoma's Central State University
(CSU), SNU, and Oklahoma's Conners State College (CSC). He attended college
at CSU and SNU on music scholarships. He is a past member of the
International Trombone Association.

Ruth
is an alumna of Southern
Nazarene University. She studied music under Doris Vaughn, Myra Shubert,
and Robert Hale. She has been playing keyboards and singing with The Briscoes
ministries for several years.
Ruth is the daughter of the late Rev. and Mrs. B. N. Wire. Rev. Wire was a well known minister who served as a pastor and evangelist for over 40 years. He started and organized several churches and preached revivals, camp meetings and conventions. Growing up in a parsonage helped prepare Ruth for a life of ministry with John.
